This policy explains what gym-qr.com stores on your device, why, and how you can control it. It covers this marketing website only. The GYM QR application at app.gym-qr.com has its own, separate policy.
Who we are
This site is operated by INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15667932, with its registered office at Highdown House, 11 Highdown Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England, CV31 1XT. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller under reference ZC160001. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
The two kinds of storage we use
Cookies are small text files your browser stores and sends back to a server with each request. Local storage is a browser feature that keeps data on your device only. Local storage is never sent to us automatically, it is read by code running in your own browser.
Cookies
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and are set without consent, as permitted under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

Analytics
We measure how the site is used with two tools, run side by side: Umami, which we host on our own server, and Google Analytics. We run both deliberately, to compare the two measurements.
Umami sets no cookies, does not follow you to other websites, does not build a profile of you, and does not hand your data to an advertising company. It counts page views and events in aggregate, and it always runs — there is nothing to consent to.
Google Analytics sets the cookies listed below, which are not strictly necessary and therefore only run if you click “Accept all” on the banner shown on your first visit. If you choose “Essential only”, none of these are set and no data reaches Google Analytics.

We previously removed Google Analytics in July 2026 over exactly this consent requirement, and reintroduced it in September 2026 alongside Umami, now that this banner exists to ask first. IP addresses are anonymised in our Google Analytics configuration.
Local storage
The following are stored on your device by your browser. None of it is transmitted to us automatically, and all of it is cleared when you clear your browser data for this site.

What we do not do
We do not use cookies for advertising, we do not sell your data, we do not run advertising or social media pixels, and we do not use cookies to build a marketing profile of you. Google Analytics is used for aggregate usage measurement only, and only if you accept it.
How to control cookies
You can change your analytics choice at any time by clearing thegymqr_cookie_consent item in your browser’s site data for gym-qr.com, which brings the banner back on your next visit.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you clear cookies and site data, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies for a specific site. Blocking our access-code cookie will mean the pre-launch site stops remembering you and shows the holding page again.
To clear the local storage listed above, clear site data for gym-qr.com in your browser settings. Private browsing mode discards all of it when you close the window.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove anything that stores data on your device, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
